DESCRIPTION:The 2011 NWO VICI deadline for prelimi
 nary project proposals is set for 31 March. The cl
 osing date for full submissions, based on the pre-
 proposals is set on 30 August. The NWO VICI grants
  provide an opportunity to researchers who have co
 mpleted their doctorate with a maximum of 15 years
  to pursue ground-breaking, high-risk research tha
 t opens new directions in any scientific field. Th
 e maximum amount of the grant will be € 1,500,000 
 for a period of five years.  Bureau Kennistransfer
  UvA AMC organises on January 20th, 2011 an inform
 ation meeting on this NWO VICI call. During this m
 eeting a policy advisor from NWO will highlight th
 e most important aspects of the call as well as gi
 ving an answer to all your questions. We also have
  invited VICI laureates and reviewers from our own
  university to share there experiences with you.
