He was involved in developing some fundamental aspects of the theory, but also in developing a number of interesting ap plications. He is well-known as one of the founder s of the succesful Prediction Company, a firm whos e business is automatic trading of financial instr uments based on time series based directional fore casting methods. An inspiring lecturer on the mult idisciplinary adventures on the intersection of be tween mathematics, natural science, economics and the social sciences.
