ILLC Open Day 2019

On Friday 4 October 2019, from 3.30pm, ILLC will open its doors for its first Open Day. The Open day is aimed at colleagues from UvA and CWI interested in the research done at ILLC.

Highlights:

  • Enjoy a live interview with Alexandru Baltag, on Explainable AI, Logic and the Iron Curtain -- interview by Dieuwke Hupkes & Jelle Zuidema
  • Listen to talks, watch research posters and talk to the researchers
  • Experience demo's on machine translation, predicting brain activity and analysis of deep learning algorithms.
  • Play a selection of games and puzzles (Mastermind, Go, Sudoku, Towers of Hanoi) and learn what these games have to do with research at ILLC.
  • Listen to musical performances, and stay for the drinks.

Practicalities:

Doors open at 3.30pm; program starts at 4.00pm. Enter via side-entrance of Science Park 107 behind the Amsterdam University College.
