Elia Bruni wins 2017 IJCAI-JAIR Best Paper Prize

Elia Bruni has received the 2017 IJCAI-JAIR Best Paper Prize for his paper "Multimodal Distributional Semantics", co-authored with Nam Khanh Tran and Marco Baroni. The paper was published in the Journal of Artificial Intelligence Research (JAIR) in 2014, before his arrival at the ILLC. The prize is awarded annually to an outstanding paper published in JAIR during the preceding five calendar years. Funding for the award is provided by the International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI).
