Actions that Make us Know Johan van Benthem Abstract: This is an extended version of "On What One May Come to Know" (Aanalysis 2004) explaining in more detail how dynamic epistemic logic provides a new take on philosophical puzzles concerning learnability of current truths and verificationism. The paper will be a chapter in the forthcoming collection J. Salerno, ed., "The Paradox of Knowability", which will have an up-to-date survey of current approaches to these intriguing problems.
