PhD student position in metaphysics of science, Duesseldorf (Germany)

The Institute of Philosophy at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Dep. Philosophy III – Metaphysics and Philosophy of Language,
Prof. Markus Schrenk, invites applications for a doctoral position scientific employee/doctoral student (50 %, pay grade 13 TV-L) starting at the earliest date. Initial appointment will be limited to a period of two years. Subject to continued funding, a further appointment for maximally one more year will be made.
Topics for the PhD thesis must be chosen from one of Prof. Schrenk's research areas such as Metaphysics of Science (dispositions, laws of nature, causation, meta-metaphysics).
