Junior Professorship (W1) in Theoretical Computer Science, Berlin (Germany)

The Institute of Computer Science at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany invites applications for a Junior Professorship in Theoretical Computer Science (salary grade W 1) reference code: W1 TheoInf

Candidates should have outstanding and innovative international research in the field of algorithms, experience with grant-sponsored research and have an excellent track record of university teaching. The appointee will strengthen the research area Theoretical Computer Science at Freie Universität Berlin and work with colleagues of the research groups. She or he will further develop and teach courses in Theoretical Computer Science in the bachelor's and master's programs. Additionally, the junior professor will be prepared to participate in collaborations within the Berlin area and work interdisciplinarily, especially with the working groups of discrete mathematics as well as with the Berlin Mathematical School (BMS).
