Abstract
This talk gives an introduction to cluster quantum computing with continuous variables and explains arising problems. The main focus is on the new results using a linear cluster state with finite squeezing, instead of infinite squeezing. The occurring errors can be tuned to an amplitude damping channel during the state-teleportation, but also during the gate-teleportation, if an active correction operator is applied. This is the first step to a full 2-dimensional quantum computer with continuous variables.
