(New) 14 January 2027, Workshop: Learning and reasoning in humans, animals, and machines
This is an announement of a one-day workshop at Tilburg University organized in collaboration with the OZSW on the theme of learning and reasoning in humans, animals, and machines, broadly construed. The aim is to bring together junior researchers from across the Netherlands working in philosophy of cognitive science, philosophy of science, and related areas to share their research, exchange ideas with peers and build research connections across different areas and approaches to this theme.
The programme will include a keynote address by prof. Jan-Willem Romeijn (Groningen), and four or five contributions (20 minutes talk + 10 minutes Q&A) by junior researchers.
Registration for participants consists in sending a short e-mail (e.g., “I would like to participate”), at the very latest by 15 December, to M.Colombo at tilburguniversity.edu.
