NWO Rubicon 2025-2

The Rubicon scheme is targeted at talented researchers who have obtained their PhD within the past year prior to the deadline (extensions are possible), and who want to spend 12 to 24 months at an excellent research institute outside the Netherlands. Applicants must have conducted scientfic research in the Netherlands for a period of at least three years full time in the past five years. There are three rounds per year. The call for proposals for the second round is now open. The deadline for submissions is on 2 September 2025. The third and last round this year is expected to close on 2 december 2025.
