The Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science at UC Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. AOS/AOC in alphabetical order: Formal Epistemology; Game and Decision Theory; History of Logic, or of Mathematics, or of Philosophy of Science; Logic, including Philosophical Logic and Computability Theory; Philosophy of Science. The department also prefers scholars who can make a strong contribution to teaching courses in the MA program in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics and especially encourages applicants from underrepresented groups in philosophy to apply.
