PhD in adaptive multimodal conversational agents

The IECS Doctoral School, at the University of Trento, has several Ph.D. openings. One of the projects to apply for is the project on Adaptive Multimodal conversational agents that will be run in collaboration with Amazon Alexa (in Berlin). I am looking for Ph.D. candidates with a strong background in Computer Science, in particular in Machine Learning, ideally with some expertise in Natural Language Processing/Natural Language Generation.
