Tenure-track assistent professorship in philosophy of science, Boston MA (U.S.A.)

The Boston University Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Philosophy of Science combined with Applied Ethics. Possible combinations could include: philosophy of neuroscience and the ethics of AI, philosophy of biology and medical ethics, philosophy of physics and environmental ethics or data ethics. Teaching experience and Ph.D. prior to appointment are expected.  Teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels; 2/2 load on the semester system; Ph.D. direction is expected, and normal committee work is required.  Summer teaching is available.  Salary commensurate with qualifications.
