PhD position in Computational Social Choice, TU Berlin (Germany)

The PhD position is for 3 years with the possibility of extension. The successful applicant will work within the DFG funded Emmy Noether project "Foundations of Interactive Democracy". The project has sufficient travel money available to support conference and workshop attendance as well as research visits to other groups internationally. There are no teaching obligations.

The main research themes of the group are computational social choice and algorithmic game theory. Therefore, applicants must have a strong background in discrete mathematics and algorithms. Research experience in (algorithmic) game theory and/or (computational) social choice is beneficial. A profound knowledge of English is required.
